“There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.”

The boy was loved, and the boy loved.

We all loved Matthew, (his family), everyone who met Matthew loved Matthew, to meet Matthew was to love Matthew.

Matthew made a difference, he touched peoples lives in meaningful ways, he left a legacy of caring and compassion, of understanding a person and helping them find themselves, Matthew had a way about him.

Matthew still makes a difference, two years on Matthew is still impacting lives lived now, Matthew will still be making a difference long after I have gone from here.

When the heart is broken, flayed wide open, we see the deep within us,

a broken heart exposes,

a broken heart lays bare

strips us of our egos,

removes us from our dramas.

“There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.”

Matthew smiled at me and told me he was happy just days before he died.

This I know for sure

Matthew was happy, Matthew loved and Matthew was loved and Matthew is for ever loved.

Matthew’s second angelversary is almost here, happy angelversary my darling.
