Walking in our local woods we first heard haunting music, then spied giggling children adorned with rabbit ears and fairy wings and all manner of face paints and costumes,
We heard shouts and calls and caught sight of people dancing and weaving in and out of adorned enclaves.
On the floor of the wood a fresh laid wood chip path wound its way to the deeper interior,
the smell of pine in the air entered my nostrils while above a trail of strung light bulbs meandered among the leaf canopy of the trees above guiding the way to where a play was about to begin.
Cornwall is a land full of surprises and GD and I are loving this Rogue Theatre Company. We are so lucky to have them performing in our local woods. There is even hot soup cooked in the woods to enjoy.
