The kids love these and I’ve made a giant rice krispie square as a birthday cake by tripling the quantities. I’m vegetarian though so for my next batch I am going to try out veggie marshmallows. Will post back how they turn out.

You will need.
200g Marshmallows
150g Rice Krispies,
50g organic unsalted butter or marge, I use Bertolli when using marge.




1. Melt the butter on the hob over a gentle heat using a medium saucepan and a wooden spoon.
2.Add the marshmallows, remove from heat when almost dissolved and continue to stir until completely incorporated..
3. Stir in the rice krispies, when completely covered empty into a dish, tin, earth friendly baking cases or mould and allow to set.


Makes about a dozen.
